Signal Mountain

Signal Mountain began in 1997 as a Wide Area Network (WAN) communications services consulting group within a leading retail vertical market enterprise management software and Point of Sale (POS) company. Initial clients were cinema chains that needed private network connectivity for Internet and Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) movie ticketing. Customers were soon demanding guidance and implementation services associated with the addition of a variety of retail business network applications that included credit card certification/authorization including sales data polling. In October 2001, the original members of the WAN consulting group purchased the business, creating Signal Mountain Networks Inc, an independent company.

Signal Mountain helps government agencies and enterprise businesses reduce expenses and increase efficiencies with cost-effective, managed and tailored network products and services. Signal Mountain implements and manages fixed and mobile satellite, MPLS, VPN, VoIP, frame relay and wireless networks and offers a wide range of network consulting services in the United States and abroad. Signal Mountain sells only to government agencies and business customers.
